School Resource Officer Deputy Wimpee

Meade County Greenwaves, meet your new School Resource Officer, Deputy Phillip Wimpee. Deputy Wimpee was born in Valley Station but grew up and attended school in Meade County and graduated from MCHS in 1987. Deputy Wimpee gained valuable skills and life lessons while at MCHS in Mr. Pickering’s metal shop classes. He used and continues to use these skills every day.

Deputy Wimpee joined the Meade County Sheriff’s Department in 2007 and officially became our School Resource Officer in November 2012. He sees himself as an educational shield for all students at MCHS and believes “there are no bad people, just people who are doing bad things.” His office is located in the Senior Academy building just inside the main entrance on the left. Feel free to stop by and talk with him if you have any questions or need help.

One of his interesting hobbies is paranormal investigation. Stop by and tell Mr. Dailey what Deputy Wimpees hobby is and win a prize.
